Consultation on the assignment process of radio spectrum in the VHF band for Terrestrial Digital Audio Broadcasting Services in Malta

The licence awarding the rights of use of spectrum suitable to set up Terrestrial Digital Audio Broadcasting will expire in March 2022. In addition, more spectrum suitable for T-DAB will be made available in July 2022.  Therefore, the Malta Communications Authority is publishing a consultation paper putting forward its proposals about the spectrum award process and the conditions associated with the rights of use spectrum.

The consultation period will run from the 26th August 2021, until 6th October 2021.
