Wholesale voice call termination on individual mobile networks in Malta

 

The Malta Communications Authority (‘MCA’) is hereby publishing a consultation document concerning the regulatory treatment of the relevant product and service markets for the provision of wholesale termination on individual mobile networks in Malta. 

This is in accordance with article 9 of the Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act, Chapter 399 of the Laws of Malta, which obliges the MCA to carry out regular reviews of competition in communications markets to ensure that regulation remains appropriate in the light of changing market conditions.

The consultation period shall run from the 13th June to 16th July 2018.
