GetSmarter - maximising the use of your smartphone
The Malta Communications Authority (MCA) has launched GetSmarter - a new initiative that is aimed at helping mobile users maximise the use of their smartphone. This initiative is being undertaken with the collaboration and support of the three leading mobile operators, GO plc, Melita and Vodafone Malta. The training, also open to individuals who are planning on purchasing a smartphone, will be offered free of charge and will help users identify different ways of connecting with people, how to browse the Internet over their smartphone and will give an overview of other interesting features available on their mobile device.
These sessions shall be offered free of charge. The general public is invited to call the MCA on the project’s hotline 2125 5495 to apply to participate in these sessions, or fill in the online application available at http://www.mca.org.mt/getsmarter. Applications will be received until 1st March.
